Every story deserves to be remembered, and mini sessions are one of my favorite ways to help you capture yours — no big production, no pressure, just a little slice of time to be together, dressed up in your favorite fall flannel or your best costume, and let me do the rest.

What is a mini session
A mini session is exactly what it sounds like; a shorter, simplified version of a full photography session, usually around 15 minutes, at a set location on a set date. Instead of a fully custom, hours-long shoot, you get a quick, joyful pocket of time in front of the camera, styled around a fun seasonal theme (think pumpkins, Halloween costumes, or a cozy fall backdrop). It's the perfect way to get beautiful, professional images of you, your partner, your family, or even your pets, without the time or investment of a full session.

You choose the image collection that fits your budget, from a handful of edited images to a full gallery, so you're only paying for exactly what you want, no more and no less.

When I should choose a mini session instead of full session?
Mini sessions are perfect if you're looking for a quick, seasonal update to your photo collection; think family photos for the holiday cards, a fun Halloween moment, or a simple portrait refresh; without the time or investment of a full session. If you're planning something more custom, like an engagement session, milestone celebration, or a shoot with multiple outfits and locations, a full session will give us the time to slow down and cover it all. Not sure which is the right fit? Reach out and I'm happy to help you figure it out.
How many final images can we expect to receive?
It depends on the image collection you choose! My mini sessions work on a Pay What You Can model, so you'll pick the collection that fits your needs after viewing your full proofing gallery, starting at 5 edited images and going all the way up to a full gallery of 25+ images. There's no wrong choice, just whatever feels right for you and your family.
How does the booking process work from start to finish?
It's simple! Choose your session theme and pick an available time slot, then secure your spot with a $25 retainer at booking. On the day of your session, come ready to have fun; your remaining balance and any upgrades are due in cash at the start of your session. After we shoot, you'll receive access to your full proofing gallery, where you'll select the image collection that's right for you. From there, I get to work editing, and your final gallery will be delivered soon after.
Can we purchase additional images and upgrade to the full gallery?
Absolutely! Once you view your proofing gallery, you're welcome to upgrade to a larger image collection or the full gallery if you fall in love with more images than your original collection included. There's no pressure to decide everything up front; you'll have the chance to choose what feels right once you see your images.
