Where Can You Elope in Maryland?

Maryland gives you an incredible amount of variety without requiring you to travel across the country to find it.

In Southern Maryland, you can build an intimate day around quiet waterfronts, wooded parks, historic areas, private properties and views along the Chesapeake and Patuxent.

Head toward Washington, DC, and the experience can become completely different — architecture, historic landmarks, gardens and a city that can feel surprisingly intimate at the right time of day.

Or choose somewhere meaningful that doesn’t appear on anyone’s “best places to elope” list at all.

Your location doesn’t need to impress the internet.

I’ll help you think through accessibility, lighting, privacy, timing, permits when required, and how the location fits into the rest of your experience so you aren’t piecing everything together by yourselves.
